"The biggest little place in America," called Henry James one of his country's most historic places: Concord, MA. This is where "the shot heard round the world" of the American War of Independence was fired in 1975, this is where Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthrone and Henry David Thoreau among other Transcendentalists worked in the mid-1800s and this is where I happen to spend Thanksgiving in 2010.
I can wander outside in the chilly November or warm up in the turkey-stuffed living room: the muse of the above writers, Nature, would flash by anyway.
